An article is, in general, a written piece that introduces the author’s argument, but sometimes the exact definition is cloudy, overlapping with those of an essay, a report, a book, a brief story, and even a pamphlet. Essays were always formal and specialized, typically meant for higher education. These days, many college students finish extensive personal essays as part of their higher education admissions requirements. Though these essays are nearly always required, some students choose to write them at home to save some time and effort.
The essay structure is broken down into five basic parts: introduction, body, conclusion, discussion, and footnotes. The introduction is normally the first paragraph of an article, but can be further organized according to the specific style of essay. It is important, however, the debut present the reader with the principal topic of the essay, though this might not always be true. The article arrangement needs to allow for at least two fundamental points, but three or more may be common, depending on the subject of the composition and the writer’s style.
The body of the essay includes the main points mentioned in the introduction. Although the introduction is the most significant part the essay, it should not be the longest. It can be either brief, 1 paragraph long, or maybe even less than 1 paragraph. The body of this essay describes what the main points of some experiments on second language learning difficulties this essay are, and why they are important. At times it will discuss a problem from the point of view of both the author and the reader.
The conclusion is that the section which summarises the ideas and arguments presented in the body of the essay. The author may want to refer back to this debut for additional information, to clarify certain points, to offer alternate views, or perhaps to conclude with a review of the whole essay. The five-paragraph article is very much like the expository essay, with a few slight differences.
In expository essays that the main focus is really on the topic, whereas the five-paragraph is more concerned about presenting the writer’s opinion, or his/her point of view. While an expository essay will contain a reasonable amount of interpretation and analysis of its main topic, the attention of this five-paragraph essay will often be on the particulars of the topic. Five-paragraph expository essays are normally more than their counterparts that are overburdened, and some even contain a case study or another kind of study related to the topic. Five-paragraph expositories also tend to be more popular amongst students. They are simpler to write, also, as they do not require a great deal of thought on the author’s role, unlike the expository essay which may have to be written very quickly so as to fulfill an examination.
A descriptive article, on the other hand, has one purpose: to present an idea or argument. Contrary to the expository essay, where the author is merely expressing his opinion, the focus of this descriptive essay will be about explaining this idea or argument. As its name implies, the goal of this kind of article is to present a specific idea or argument in a concise and clear way. There’s generally no requirement for interpretation or elaboration of the author’s point of view or view. It’s up to the reader to interpret and evaluate the writer’s arguments and remarks.
